February 20: Project – Trapunto Needle Cushion: Stitched in the Hoop
Create a trapunto customized “pincushion” for saving your
specialty needles. You will work with stipple effects, lettering,
and learn about creating projects that will finish sewing
themselves up in the hoop.
March 20: Project – Monogrammed Sachet
Create a beautifully monogrammed sachet pillow for yourself,or for a gift using cocktail
napkins from “All About Blanks.”
You will use the monogram features of the software, and learn to create your own ornaments
using true type fonts. You will also practice creating placement lines with your software to
insure a perfect stitch-out every time.
